Production Team Leader
With our trade like in a tree a lot
of energy goes into the production
of fruits, that is to say of something
so beautiful and desirable that it
might be of interest for you.
Division Manager
The closer to the vital sunlight
and the closer to the clients,
tasks get more specific. Day
to day business has to be
accurately organized.
Department Manager
Branches divide into smaller
branches and shoots. At this
level communication is one
of the main tasks as is the
circulation of energy in a tree.
Management
Wood gives structural strength
to the trunk supporting the
plant as it grows larger.
The trunk rises the precious
and productive leaves, the buds
and fruits high above the ground
for protection. Its sapwood
provides circulation and nutrition
of all parts of the tree.
Administrative Board
The roots serve to anchor the tree
in the ground. That's where it all
starts when a new tree comes to
existence: the embryonic root is
the first part of a seedling to
emerge from the seed in order
to get water and nutrients.
Nourished by guiding principles
Below the ground, not visible
at fist sight, the roots spread
out widely to anchor the whole
system. Moisture and nutrients
are extracted from the rich
soil of values and attitudes.

Every tree is precious to us, being the alter ego of human life and the symbol for our company.
Not only because it provides us with wood and timber – essential to our trade – we came to treasure the tree as a metaphor and model for the organisation of our company. We do our best to keep the tree green and healthy, make it bloom and grow and provide our clients with an abundance of fruit.
If you are about to leave school and are passionate about wood, design and construction, training with us as an apprentice is a rewarding way to start your career. We are constantly looking for talented and enthusiastic people who are ready to take responsibility for their life and develop a passion for craftsmanship. You'll learn from the best!

Actually, it's a rather sad event when employees of long standing go on retirement. From the management's point of view this always equals to a painful brain-drain. Nevertheless, we look at the bright side: we are grateful for all the years they have worked with us and we will always treasure their commitment and contribution. They'll never be forgotten!
Living in the Emmental, we admire our local ice hockey team, our “SCL Tigers”.
For our team of joiners it's not only a question of local patriotism. Attending a match of “our” highly acclaimed Tigers, we also learn for our working life. There are stunning similarities in their play and our doing. Each is a star and an expert in his own right, but what counts even more are the common values and is the team spirit that uncompromisingly welds us together.
The governance of sustainability
Our company's foundation is built on the Christian values of social and environmental responsibility. We are committed to protecting the environment, health and safety of our employees and to the carful and sustainable use of resources. Our projects and initiatives aim at the improvement of human life and the protection of the ecosystem.
